The supporters of Odem booed when Plantation FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ari Scruggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Winslow charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Winslow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Odem's Oscar Winslow got a free kick in the 7th minute. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Plantation FC's Joseph Tilley got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of German Kern. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Winslow in the 17th minute of play forced Plantation FC's goalkeeper Willy Warren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Plantation FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ari Scruggs to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Tilley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 minutes, Eldon Schmitt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plantation FC and the Odem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Eldon Schmitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Oscar Winslow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Warren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willy Warren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Hutchison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 39th minute of the match Ari Scruggs completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ari Scruggs a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Plantation FC's Willy Warren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Winslow in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Adolfo Cantrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plantation FC the free kick. After 51 played minutes Odem got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Cantrell. Jared Alston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Kern having to interfere. Willy Warren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Mendez in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Odem's Preston Barnett dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 75th minute Preston Barnett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Warren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Preston Barnett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willy Warren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 91st match minute, Odem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Hutchison to maneuver through the defense. Devin Cope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darryl Elliot charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darryl Elliot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Darryl Elliot hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Plantation FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
