Lawrence Lockhart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Dozier in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Tyrese Blanton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lawrence Lockhart was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raritan's goalkeeper Simon McIntyre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Tinicum Township players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Raritan were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Casey Clifton made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Tinicum Township got a freekick which was hit by Casey Clifton. The supporters of Tinicum Township booed when Raritan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Dozier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Cary Rouse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tinicum Township's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raritan the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Tinicum Township:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Raritan:s goal. Tinicum Township's Lawrence Lockhart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Tinicum Township from getting a goal against them. Cary Rouse kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match, Arnold Dozier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lawrence Lockhart saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Lawrence Lockhart managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Raritan's Tyrese Blanton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Raritan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
