Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Andreas Shelton fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Georgetown's protests and gave Andreas Shelton a yellow card for diving instead. Andreas Shelton kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Denny Haskins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hobart's Dudley Hayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Shelton in the 11th minute of play. When Georgetown's Andreas Shelton in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dudley Hayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Haskins in the 43rd minute of play. If Andreas Shelton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Shelton made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denny Haskins couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, Quincy Phipps was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xavier Bloom kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Denny Haskins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Georgetown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denny Haskins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georgetown played a much better game than Hobart and deserved their victory. The Hobart players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
