The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrick Carlton during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wally Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nesara. In the 26th minute Dominique Carlton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wally Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyrus Byers hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Woods Cross's Wally Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Page in the 31st minute of play. Nesara's Dominique Carlton got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Woods Cross getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cyrus Byers hit a great ball. Emerson Page recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Woods Cross's Wally Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Page in the 42nd minute of play. Wally Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Page, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohammed Crawford took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wally Marquez. Woods Cross's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flint Espinoza to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Nesara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolph Patten to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Thorpe kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Nesara's Lorenzo Thorpe suffered a concussion after 63 minutes and had to leave the field. When Orlando Booth fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woods Cross's protests and gave Orlando Booth a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Woods Cross got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Booth. Orlando Booth was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Nesara booed when Woods Cross was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Booth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolph Patten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wally Marquez. Woods Cross's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Woods Cross getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cyrus Byers hit a great ball. Ronny Knutson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Knutson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ward Montgomery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ward Montgomery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Knutson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ward Montgomery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Knutson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyrus Byers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ward Montgomery having to interfere. Ronny Knutson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Woods Cross's Ronny Knutson in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nesara's goalie prevented a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
