Heroes From Yerevan's Kory Matlock hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-0! Reed Pierce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jerome Storr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clayton Lunsford blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kory Matlock having to make a save. Clayton Lunsford struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Kory Matlock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlton AFC. Reed Pierce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kory Matlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Brunson in the 30th minute of the match. Jerome Storr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reed Pierce in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Sonny James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Ring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Storr having to interfere. Jerome Storr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reed Pierce in the 36th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Heroes From Yerevan's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Brunson came free, but Kory Matlock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Heroes From Yerevan getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Clark Cho hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Charlie Brunson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kory Matlock. Charlie Brunson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After having played for 47 minutes, Clayton Lunsford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clayton Lunsford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Heroes From Yerevan's zone, Charlie Brunson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kory Matlock came out of the goal and Charlie Brunson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Clayton Lunsford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlton AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Heroes From Yerevan's Kory Matlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Brunson in the 62nd minute of play. If Clayton Lunsford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
