After a rather tough play, Pacifica AFC's Reuben McNally got a free kick in the 10th minute. Garret Henley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Fujieda in the 14th minute of play. Duane McCauley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garret Henley having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Fujieda was the one to do the kick off. Garret Henley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pacifica AFC's Garret Henley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duane McCauley in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Pacifica AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vincent Coffman hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Duane McCauley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisle AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duane McCauley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garret Henley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josef Fujieda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duane McCauley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garret Henley having to interfere. Basil Valle was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Basil Valle hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Duane McCauley came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Lisle AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duane McCauley couldn't finish the play.
