The audience thought a goal was coming when Jay Annan got free with Randell Rivera in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Dolan in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Randell Rivera saved El Lago from getting behind. Enoch Grimes had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Emilio Roberts's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 18th minute, Emilio Roberts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Lago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, El Lago's Alexis Rector got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of rany fc booed when El Lago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Byron Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball.
