Corcoran FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milo Givens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, one of Corcoran FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corcoran FC. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for King-Clovers. Wilford Frank stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Al Kenney. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Whaley in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Delgado saved King-Clovers from getting behind. After a rather tough play, King-Clovers's Tom Lynn got a free kick in the 37th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Milo Givens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of King-Clovers booed when Corcoran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vince Norton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milo Givens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milo Givens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danny Delgado came out and tried to block the shot, but Milo Givens slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sean Daley managed to get in a good position for a shot. King-Clovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean Daley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Al Kenney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tom Whaley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
