Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heriberto Connor got the match started through his kick off. King-Clovers's Sean Daley got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute of the match Tyrell Dobson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danny Delgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Sean Daley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, King-Clovers's Heriberto Connor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Parker Swift made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Taos's Sung Delong slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danny Delgado. That made the score 1-1 after 35 minutes of play. 37 minutes into the game, Marcellus Alonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave King-Clovers the free kick. A collision led to Taos getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Marcellus Alonzo hit a great ball. Heriberto Connor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Parker Swift having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sung Delong to make the kick off. King-Clovers's Tom Lynn got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jackson Lind fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taos's protests and gave Jackson Lind a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Taos's Jackson Lind got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Danny Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sung Delong, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Luciano Adair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danny Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Woody Parson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Woody Parson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but King-Clovers's Danny Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes King-Clovers got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Adair. In the 72nd minute, Tom Lynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Woody Parson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilford Frank's late challenge caught a Taos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Woody Parson in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Delgado saved King-Clovers from getting behind. After some careless play in the King-Clovers defense, Woody Parson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danny Delgado. The King-Clovers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danny Delgado should have stopped the shot. Taos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
