When Alexis Young fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★'s protests and gave Alexis Young a yellow card for diving instead. Alexis Young hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Renato Eddy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquis Barker in the 21st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of St Louis FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★'s zone, Marquis Barker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Eddy came out of the goal and Marquis Barker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquis Barker got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Renato Eddy handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Alexis Young kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Renato Eddy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquis Barker, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Lawrence Noble got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renato Eddy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquis Barker in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lawrence Noble managed to get in a good position for a shot. St Louis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lawrence Noble was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Eddy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marquis Barker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Saldana in the 45th minute of play forced St Louis FC's goalkeeper Luther Hare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Eddy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquis Barker in the 47th minute of play. Renato Eddy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lawrence Noble's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Saldana made a kick off. But to his dismay, Marquis Barker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Dustin Starnes charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dustin Starnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dustin Starnes hit a great ball. The long shot by Allen Hendrickson in the 82nd minute really tested Renato Eddy's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lawrence Noble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Renato Eddy managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when St Louis FC's Gilberto Foster fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Denis Mattson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luther Hare having to interfere.
