Solomon Riker scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eli Putnam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 24 minutes, Troy Stokes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CaraSucias and the Pago Pago FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pago Pago FC booed when CaraSucias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Stokes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Duncan Saucedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eli Putnam showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, CaraSucias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dana Diaz to maneuver through the defense. Clark Ragland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Clark Ragland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eli Putnam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eli Putnam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clark Ragland in the 38th minute of play. Pago Pago FC's Solomon Riker managed to work through CaraSucias's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Solomon Riker dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Pago Pago FC's Solomon Riker got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Solomon Riker in the 45th minute of play forced CaraSucias's goalkeeper Eli Putnam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clark Ragland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eli Putnam having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Solomon Riker was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Solomon Riker in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eli Putnam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the game, Clark Ragland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pago Pago FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CaraSucias the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Pago Pago FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clark Ragland to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Albert Frazier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jarrett Brewer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eli Putnam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eli Putnam didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Clark Ragland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eli Putnam. That made the score 1-4 in the 87 minute of play. Jarrett Brewer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Smiley in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Solomon Riker in the 95th minute of play forced CaraSucias's goalkeeper Eli Putnam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Solomon Riker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Pago Pago FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CaraSucias throughout the match.
