Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vern Sheffield started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Bryant Goodman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bryant Goodman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miles Roy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Garth Barger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ruidoso getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Garth Barger hit a great ball. Son Beltre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Cassidy. Ruidoso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Antony West who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tampa Bay's Miles Roy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bryant Goodman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Antony West notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tampa Bay's Miles Roy. Miles Roy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vern Sheffield in the 26th minute of play forced Ruidoso's goalkeeper Charles Cassidy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marshall Arredondo came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Charles Cassidy could save by the left post. After 28 minutes, Garth Barger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruidoso and the Tampa Bay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Garth Barger kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tampa Bay's Miles Roy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony West in the 32nd minute of play. Vern Sheffield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Cassidy having to interfere. Antony West received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Miles Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruidoso's Bryant Goodman got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miles Roy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony West in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Tampa Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Bryant Goodman came free, but Miles Roy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garrett Sutton hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute, Dante Ramirez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tampa Bay's Miles Roy didn't even have to move. The Tampa Bay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ruidoso were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bryant Goodman to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rick Pugh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Cassidy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vern Sheffield's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vern Sheffield in the 63rd minute of play forced Ruidoso's goalkeeper Charles Cassidy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reggie Wise took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Cassidy. Ruidoso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Antony West had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Arredondo in the 79th minute of play forced Ruidoso's goalkeeper Charles Cassidy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marshall Arredondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chase Calloway hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tampa Bay's Moses Tabor got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Antony West came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ruidoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antony West couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 96 in the game by Antony West from a close distance when the talented Miles Roy managed to make a qualified save. Tampa Bay's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice moves Antony West could shoot a difficult shot in the 99th minute, which Miles Roy however easily saved by the left post. Ruidoso's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
