The supporters of Wyomissing Hills AFC booed when Tampa Bay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Tidwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Roy having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Tampa Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mayes came free, but Miles Roy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emanuel Mayes came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Wyomissing Hills AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Mayes couldn't finish the play. Wyomissing Hills AFC's Geoff Stallings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garrett Sutton in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wyomissing Hills AFC's goalkeeper Geoff Stallings, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miles Roy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Mayes went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Geoff Stallings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Brooks in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tampa Bay's goalkeeper Miles Roy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Mayess short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Miles Roy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emanuel Mayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Miles Roy managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Wyomissing Hills AFC's Emanuel Mayes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 40 minutes into the match, Wyomissing Hills AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Garrett Sutton came free, but Geoff Stallings reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Dante Tidwell fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Emanuel Mayes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes of play, Tampa Bay's Marshall Arredondo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geoff Stallings was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vern Sheffield stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Dante Tidwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miles Roy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Ned Stoddard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marshall Arredondo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geoff Stallings firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 69th minute Marshall Arredondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geoff Stallings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Tampa Bay's Aldo Brooks ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geoff Stallings. Geoff Stallings yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Marshall Arredondo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marshall Arredondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Tampa Bay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marshall Arredondo to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Mayes might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miles Roy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Mayes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute, Dante Tidwell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wyomissing Hills AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 96th minute Dante Tidwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miles Roy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marshall Arredondo got free with Geoff Stallings in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wyomissing Hills AFC fully deserved thier win.
