Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jonas Herrera started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Deaton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from DeMarcus Gipson in the 5th minute of play. Johnathan Gaston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abe Huber went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Deaton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Rafferty in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ladysmith's goalkeeper Daniel Deaton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Abe Huber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ladysmith's supporters rose to their feet, but Abe Huber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnathan Gaston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cedar Lake FC booed when Ladysmith was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenic Norman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Deaton was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Johnny Patton. Daniel Deaton made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gabriel Rafferty sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Cedar Lake FC's Bennett Woods got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gabriel Rafferty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Deaton having to interfere. When Norberto McGill fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ladysmith's protests and gave Norberto McGill a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto McGill hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Donovan Wetzel came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cedar Lake FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donovan Wetzel couldn't finish the play. Donovan Wetzel struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Daniel Deaton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cedar Lake FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Wetzel in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Deaton saved Ladysmith from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donovan Wetzel to make the kick off. Cedar Lake FC's Gabriel Rafferty got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Donovan Wetzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Deaton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Rafferty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute Gabriel Rafferty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Deaton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Gabriel Rafferty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gabriel Rafferty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Domenic Norman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Gabriel Rafferty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Deaton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donovan Wetzel in the 95th minute of the match. Cedar Lake FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
