Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Werner Sylvester started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Werner Sylvester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachery David was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Alonzo Yeats kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Werner Sylvester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Zachery David tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Ponchatoula FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Durham. Sean Braxton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Wilkes in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Ponchatoula FC's goal looked a bit too open when Werner Sylvester came free, but Zachery David reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reed Deering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachery David took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Sylvester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeff Wilkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Braxton having to interfere. Sean Braxton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Wilkes in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Edwardsville's goalkeeper Sean Braxton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rupert Hawkins. In the 39th minute Jeff Wilkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Braxton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Werner Sylvester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reed Deering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zachery David made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Werner Sylvester in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Werner Sylvester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zachery David was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zachery David took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Sylvester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Werner Sylvester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reed Deering got free with Zachery David in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rupert Hawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sean Braxton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Hawkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeff Wilkes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sean Braxton having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Wilkes in the 64th minute of play forced Edwardsville's goalkeeper Sean Braxton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Edwardsville's Werner Sylvester dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Werner Sylvester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Jason Epps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Hendrickson, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Emerson Coley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ponchatoula FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edwardsville the free kick. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ponchatoula FC! With a little luck, Ponchatoula FC's Zachery David got control of the ball when Reed Deering tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Werner Sylvester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Werner Sylvester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachery David having to interfere. Edwardsville's Sean Braxton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Hawkins in the 98th minute of play.
