Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jarrett Tackett took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Jarrett Tackett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodore Goss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sherman Ricks having to interfere. Sherman Ricks came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Firebaugh AFC's Jarrett Tackett. But to his dismay, Jarrett Tackett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sherman Ricks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theodore Goss went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sherman Ricks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarrett Tackett in the 22nd minute of play. East Sandwich AFC's Sherman Ricks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarrett Tackett in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes East Sandwich AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ace Charles. Theodore Goss took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sherman Ricks. Sherman Ricks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, East Sandwich AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Baltazar came free, but Sherman Ricks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Theodore Goss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firebaugh AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodore Goss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sherman Ricks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarrett Tackett struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Sherman Ricks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Firebaugh AFC. Sherman Ricks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Lujan in the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to East Sandwich AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ace Charles hit a great ball. Sherman Ricks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarrett Tackett's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernie Barajas to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Theodore Goss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sherman Ricks was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernie Barajas in the 59th minute of play forced Firebaugh AFC's goalkeeper Parker Neff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Firebaugh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daren Delaney to maneuver through the defense. Parker Neff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucien McDaniel went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Jarrett Tackett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodore Goss's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Sherman Ricks skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Firebaugh AFC booed when East Sandwich AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcellus Eaton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodore Goss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Sherman Ricks made a huge save. With a little luck, East Sandwich AFC's Sherman Ricks got control of the ball when Theodore Goss tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 minutes, Silas Baltazar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firebaugh AFC and the East Sandwich AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Firebaugh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Baltazar to maneuver through the defense. Ernie Barajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Firebaugh AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
