Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pupukea's Sidney Purvis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clemson's Conrad Whitman got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrad Whitman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Darren Bowser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Clemson got a freekick which was hit by Charles MacWilliams. Clark Trujillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dwayne Ruiz in the 12th minute. Antonio Roe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Trujillo having to interfere. Clark Trujillo came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Pupukea's Antonio Roe. But to his dismay, Antonio Roe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eli Rowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Bowser having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darrell Odom during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Darrell Odom kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Dalton Rhodes sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Clark Trujillo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Dalton Rhodes this time. In the 31st minute of the match, Monroe Farley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clark Trujillo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sidney Purvis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Clark Trujillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Conrad Whitman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clemson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrad Whitman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Conrad Whitman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darren Bowser. Pupukea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrad Whitman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrad Whitman made a kick off. Dustin Bernstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Darren Bowser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Antonio Roe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clemson's Clark Trujillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clark Trujillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monroe Farley in the 64th minute of the match. Antonio Roe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darren Bowser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrad Whitman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Clemson's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Bannister came free, but Clark Trujillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clark Trujillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Roe in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Purvis in the 76th minute of play forced Clemson's goalkeeper Clark Trujillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Antonio Roe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Trujillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Purvis in the 79th minute of play forced Clemson's goalkeeper Clark Trujillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Clemson getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rolland Bellamy hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pupukea's Dalton Rhodes got a free kick in the 88th minute. Clark Trujillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monroe Farley in the 94th minute of the match. The Pupukea manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Clemson to win.
