Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Merle Spicer made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when J.P. Lucas sent off a good shot on target. Dillon Trotter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickey Jean having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Muskegon AFC's Cruz Norton got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Sherman Larson made a precise shot to the right of Rickey Jean. Muskegon AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Dillon Trotter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shazam FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dillon Trotter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When J.P. Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Muskegon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that J.P. Lucas couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, Terrence Cooke lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Merle Spicer. A collision led to Muskegon AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Terrence Cooke hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terrence Cooke in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Merle Spicer saved Shazam FC from getting behind. After 45 played minutes Shazam FC got a freekick which was hit by Tyrell Dickey. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Shazam FC's Merle Spicer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.P. Lucas in the 55th minute of play. Shazam FC's Sherman Larson got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Shazam FC's goal looked a bit too open when J.P. Lucas came free, but Merle Spicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Shazam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyrell Dickey to maneuver through the defense. When Tyrell Dickey was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Shazam FC's Tyrell Dickey got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Terrence Cooke came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Muskegon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terrence Cooke couldn't finish the play. Rhett Faulk hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Shazam FC defense, J.P. Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merle Spicer. The Shazam FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merle Spicer should have stopped the shot. After 85 minutes, J.P. Lucas made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Shazam FC's Merle Spicer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the game, Muskegon AFC's J.P. Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Merle Spicer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.P. Lucas in the 92nd minute of play forced Shazam FC's goalkeeper Merle Spicer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes, Cruz Norton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muskegon AFC and the Shazam FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Muskegon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cruz Norton. Shazam FC's Merle Spicer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terrence Cooke in the 96th minute of play. Muskegon AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
