Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fairview's Adolfo Parks started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Fairview booed when Natchitoches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rico Cooley didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ralph Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Cristopher Singh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Vaughn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Parks, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Marc Gallegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, William Arroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Natchitoches's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Arroyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcellus Metcalf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristopher Singh, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If William Arroyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Adolfo Parks recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eric Vaughn. Adolfo Parks showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Natchitoches's goalkeeper Eric Vaughn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralph Alvarez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralph Alvarez got free with Eric Vaughn in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 played minutes Natchitoches got a freekick which was hit by Cristopher Singh. Will Baltazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Arroyo in the 41st minute of play forced Fairview's goalkeeper Marcellus Metcalf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute William Arroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellus Metcalf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael Drew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Metcalf having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
William Arroyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Will Baltazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Natchitoches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Will Baltazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fairview's zone, William Arroyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcellus Metcalf came out of the goal and William Arroyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Fairview's Stuart Dent got a free kick in the 57th minute. Will Baltazar struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Marcellus Metcalf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Natchitoches. Will Baltazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Metcalf having to interfere. Marcellus Metcalf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Arroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Will Baltazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Metcalf having to interfere. When Will Baltazar came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Natchitoches fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Will Baltazar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Fairview's Mckinley LeBlanc got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, William Arroyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Vaughn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Parks in the 87th minute of the match. Natchitoches's Eric Vaughn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Alvarez in the 89th minute of play. If Ralph Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Fairview were victorious despite being under pressure from Natchitoches for much of the match.
