Ralph Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Marco Means didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fairview. Fairview's Ralph Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Parks in the 76th minute of play forced Myrtle Grove's goalkeeper Marco Means to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Myrtle Grove's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Alvarez came free, but Marco Means reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Elliot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes of play, Myrtle Grove's Santiago Elliot made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcellus Metcalf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Elliot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Metcalf having to interfere. Marco Means showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Alvarez in the 90th minute of the match. If Adolfo Parks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Myrtle Grove supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Myrtle Grove would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
