Josef Tang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Willy Temple skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 17th minute Micah Tompkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Temple saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Micah Tompkins in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willy Temple prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lancaster FC's Roger Locke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Avila in the 22nd minute of play. Woody Murdock charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Woody Murdock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Woody Murdock hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Josef Tang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willy Temple having to make a save. Willy Temple stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Micah Tompkins's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Regan got free with Roger Locke in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Micah Tompkins notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mishawaka's Willy Temple. Willy Temple was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th match minute, Lancaster FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leland Blankenship to maneuver through the defense. If Josef Tang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josef Tang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Temple having to interfere. Willy Temple showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micah Tompkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Mishawaka got a freekick which was hit by Bryant Hodge. Micah Tompkins scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willy Temple, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Micah Tompkins in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willy Temple saved Mishawaka from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Josef Tang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lancaster FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Tang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Avila in the 95th minute of play forced Lancaster FC's goalkeeper Roger Locke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Josef Tang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
