Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Joel Schroeder fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paynesville's protests and gave Joel Schroeder a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Schroeder kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Romeo Stroh lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in East Haven fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Paynesville a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Junior Benitez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of East Haven's Dale Eckert. 1-0. The supporters of East Haven booed when Paynesville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerry Finch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd play minute Tim Bassett came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dale Eckert. 2-0. In the 29th minute of the match, Kasey Holden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dale Eckert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tim Bassett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paynesville's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Bassett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Eckert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, East Haven's goal looked a bit too open when Kasey Holden came free, but Dale Eckert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kasey Holden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasey Holden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Eckert having to interfere. East Haven's Dale Eckert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasey Holden in the 45th minute of play. Tim Bassett struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dale Eckert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paynesville. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasey Holden in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Eckert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fletcher Connelly was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Kasey Holden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Haven's Dale Eckert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tim Bassett might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dale Eckert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tim Bassett ran back to his position shaking his head. Dale Eckert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasey Holden in the 62nd minute of play. After 62 minutes, Clinton Copeland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paynesville and the East Haven players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clinton Copeland hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tim Bassett charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Bassett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of East Haven booed when Paynesville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Bassett didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jay Britt during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, East Haven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Britt to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Kasey Holden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dale Eckert was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 67th match minute, East Haven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Shea to maneuver through the defense. Kasey Holden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Eckert having to interfere. If Fletcher Connelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to East Haven getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Murray Miranda hit a great ball. Edmund Shea kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Kasey Holden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Eckert having to interfere. After a rather tough play, East Haven's Edmund Shea got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Tim Bassett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tim Bassett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Bassett in the 91st minute of play forced East Haven's goalkeeper Dale Eckert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Tim Bassett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paynesville's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Bassett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Eckert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Paynesville's Kasey Holden in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Haven's goalie prevented a goal. Paynesville's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
