Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nathan Pham kicked off to start the match. Paynesville's Olin Carlson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Paynesville from getting a goal against them. After 4 played minutes Paynesville got a freekick which was hit by Joel Schroeder. Nathan Pham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Rico Nelson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Junior Benitez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carson Ring skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Erickson during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paynesville getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ruben Erickson hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Paynesville's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zachary Rasmussen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Wyatt during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paynesville's Gustavo Wyatt got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Tim Bassett came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Paynesville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Bassett couldn't finish the play. If Kasey Holden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasey Holden to make the kick off. Kerry Finch hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zachary Rasmussen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watsontown AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachary Rasmussen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olin Carlson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kasey Holden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carson Ring read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Watsontown AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kasey Holden came free, but Carson Ring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Watsontown AFC's Carson Ring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasey Holden in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Zachary Rasmussen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watsontown AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachary Rasmussen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olin Carlson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jospeh Kidd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paynesville's zone, Zachary Rasmussen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olin Carlson came out of the goal and Zachary Rasmussen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Bassett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carson Ring having to interfere. Zachary Rasmussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tim Bassett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Carson Ring made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Fernando Thomason was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watsontown AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paynesville the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Watsontown AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Thomason to maneuver through the defense. Carson Ring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasey Holden, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Watsontown AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Paynesville to leave the ground with a draw.
