In the 13th minute Enrique Bellamy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avery Nicholson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Rocco Dale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kickin Balls's Avery Nicholson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Enrique Bellamy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avondale Estates fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Monty Villegas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Cesar Key sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avery Nicholson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Bellamy in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 56 minutes, Lewis Sherwood mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kickin Balls and the Avondale Estates players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Rocco Dale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Avondale Estates's Sebastian Reed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Sherwood in the 70th minute of play. Cesar Key sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rocco Dale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avery Nicholson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Timothy Parra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Odell Banks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Avery Nicholson skillfully saved the ball. If Cesar Key had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avery Nicholson made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Rocco Dale sent off a good shot on target. Avery Nicholson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rocco Dale in the 87th minute.
