Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rey Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Phipps read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Columbia City AFC's zone, Erik Driver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asher Campbell came out of the goal and Erik Driver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Orangeburg's Asher Campbell threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marco Kane, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Len Steiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Phipps having to interfere. Marco Kane hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chuck Barber during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chuck Barber kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Columbia City AFC's Len Steiner in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orangeburg's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute, Rodney Sheehan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Len Steiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Orangeburg's zone, Rey Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Phipps came out of the goal and Rey Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chuck Barber kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Allan Phipps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Santana in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Len Steiner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Phipps was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Johnnie Bright kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Columbia City AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Asher Campbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Driver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Len Steiner in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Phipps saved Orangeburg from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Len Steiner in the 59th minute of play forced Orangeburg's goalkeeper Allan Phipps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Columbia City AFC's Len Steiner in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tommie Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asher Campbell having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Tommie Harman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Columbia City AFC's Asher Campbell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rey Santana spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Orangeburg's goal. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Orangeburg! An unexpectedly hard shot by Len Steiner in the 82nd minute of play forced Orangeburg's goalkeeper Allan Phipps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Rey Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Columbia City AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rey Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommie Harman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Hollandsworth hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Columbia City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Kane came free, but Asher Campbell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Orangeburg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Columbia City AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Columbia City AFC.
