Hugh Wood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Pascal McClelland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Zamora in the 8th minute of play forced King's goalkeeper Pascal McClelland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascal McClelland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugh Wood in the 15th minute of play. Pascal McClelland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of King booed when Dynamo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Lange didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dynamo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Carlos Crum scored to the left of an out of position Filiberto Purvis, making the score, 1-0. Dexter Colvin's late challenge caught a Dynamo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dexter Colvin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dynamo FC booed when King was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dexter Colvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Crums short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Filiberto Purvis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dynamo FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Purvis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Dynamo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Truman Martinez to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Don Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dynamo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cody Guy was slow to take the kick. During this time King's players had a chance to rest. The corner led King's Cody Guy to fire away a dangerous shot which Filiberto Purvis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Zamora to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascal McClelland made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Truman Martinez sent off a good shot on target. After 61 minutes, Derick Hubbard mouthed his way into the referee's book. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiberto Purvis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filiberto Purvis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Crum went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The King fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dynamo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
