The referee ignored Orangeburg's protests and gave Johnnie Bright a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Orangeburg getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Johnnie Bright hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Erik Driver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alistair Salter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Phipps having to interfere. Orangeburg's Neal Meeks got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascal McClelland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Driver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orangeburg were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing King to leave the ground with a draw.
