The wind increased when Len Steiner made the kick off in the second half. When Len Steiner came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Columbia City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Len Steiner couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Rey Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiberto Purvis. Dynamo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rey Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo FC's zone, Rey Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Purvis came out of the goal and Rey Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Hugh Wood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugh Wood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asher Campbell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Zamora in the 63rd minute of play forced Columbia City AFC's goalkeeper Asher Campbell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Rey Santana made a precise shot to the right of Filiberto Purvis. Dynamo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a left leg Filiberto Purvis saved Dynamo FC from getting behind. Fabian Zamora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Asher Campbell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Len Steiner in the 89th minute of play forced Dynamo FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Purvis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
