In the 13th minute German French shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wyatt Mott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Glass in the 15th minute of play forced real madrid's goalkeeper Graig Belcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mount Angel AFC's Wyatt Mott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Zapata in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Mount Angel AFC's Fernando Epps sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Graig Belcher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Merle Ivey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Graig Belcher having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, real madrid's goalkeeper Graig Belcher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralph Tipton. Ralph Tipton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Thaddeus Siegel fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored real madrid's protests and gave Thaddeus Siegel a yellow card for diving instead. Thaddeus Siegel kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ralph Tipton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mount Angel AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralph Tipton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wyatt Mott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Val Hanna took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Wyatt Mott to make any attempt to save it. 95 minutes into the match, Mount Angel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when German French came free, but Wyatt Mott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
