When Valdosta FC's Tad Westbrook in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crowley's goalie prevented a goal. Archie Hoffman struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. David Cronin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crowley. David Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Lozano, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A hard shot 14 in the game by Archie Hoffman from a close distance when the talented David Cronin managed to make a qualified save. Valdosta FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Valdosta FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sol Stover hit a great ball. Junior Nieves's late challenge caught a Crowley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Junior Nieves helped the player get up and apologised. Junior Nieves hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Benjamin in the 22nd minute of play forced Crowley's goalkeeper Jimmy Sanders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Lozano hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Valdosta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Lozano came free, but David Cronin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tad Westbrook managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdosta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tad Westbrook was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Sanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Tad Westbrook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Sanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larry Benjamin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Archie Hoffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claude Lozano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tad Westbrook made a kick off. Tad Westbrook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Sanders having to interfere. The supporters of Crowley booed when Valdosta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Junior Nieves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Archie Hoffman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Cronin was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Archie Hoffman in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Cronin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd match minute, Valdosta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Stover to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Archie Hoffman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crowley's supporters rose to their feet, but Archie Hoffman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimmy Sanders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tad Westbrook's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 79 minutes of play, Crowley's Archie Hoffman made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Cronin was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Luis Hagen kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Crowley's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
