Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mason Bryant got the match started through his kick off. Brett Melendez charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brett Melendez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brett Melendez hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Shayne Keene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mason Bryant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Shayne Keene kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mickey Steiner. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 26th minute Shayne Keene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickey Steiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sheldon Aldridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brett Melendez might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brice Lott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brett Melendez ran back to his position shaking his head. When Brett Melendez came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Lakehurst FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brett Melendez couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Harleysville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Mackey came free, but Brice Lott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Brett Melendez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakehurst FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brett Melendez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Lott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harleysville FC's Brice Lott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mason Bryant in the 40th minute of play. Shayne Keene was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Harleysville FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shayne Keene made a kick off. Mickey Steiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheldon Aldridge in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sheldon Aldridge in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickey Steiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dwayne Shelton charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dwayne Shelton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lakehurst FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dwayne Shelton hit a great ball. Harleysville FC's Reed Poe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lakehurst FC. Harleysville FC's Brice Lott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Harleysville FC from getting a goal against them. Mickey Steiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheldon Aldridge in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brett Melendez in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brice Lott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 79th minute of the match Dwayne Shelton completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dwayne Shelton a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 80 played minutes Lakehurst FC got a freekick which was hit by Dwayne Shelton. A collision led to Lakehurst FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mason Bryant hit a great ball. Mickey Steiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sheldon Aldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Shayne Keene put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mickey Steiner. In the 92nd minute Sheldon Aldridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickey Steiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
