Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Benny Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mason Bryant's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Benny Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brett Melendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Mason Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Bradshaw blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickey Steiner having to make a save. Robbie Bradshaw might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickey Steiner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Bradshaw ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the game, Robbie Bradshaw recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mickey Steiner. Robbie Bradshaw showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mason Bryant in the 27th minute of play forced Torrington's goalkeeper Benny Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Robbie Bradshaw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mickey Steiner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mason Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Benny Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mickey Steiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Bradshaw in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Torrington's Donald Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mickey Steiner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lakehurst FC's zone, Donald Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mickey Steiner came out of the goal and Donald Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mason Bryant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Rosenberg having to interfere.

Brett Melendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Rosenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Benny Rosenberg had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Mason Bryant from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience was convinced that Mason Bryant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benny Rosenberg was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Torrington's Donald Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Merle Silver in the 72nd minute really tested Benny Rosenberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 75 minutes in the game, Mason Bryant dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Robbie Bradshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mickey Steiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donald Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torrington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lakehurst FC the free kick. In the 86th minute, Tony Phelps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Torrington's Benny Rosenberg got control of the ball when Brett Melendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benny Rosenberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mason Bryant showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 88 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Torrington's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brett Melendez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Torrington fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lakehurst FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
