Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Northville FC's DeMarcus Butler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brendan Gilmore scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Whitney Dolan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 played minutes Northville FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolland Busby. Whitney Dolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from DeMarcus Butler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Brandon Hearn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riverbank FC and the Northville FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brandon Hearn kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Riverbank FC's Ty Darden got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, DeMarcus Butler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Whitney Dolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, DeMarcus Butler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but DeMarcus Butler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Whitney Dolan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Northville FC's DeMarcus Butler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Whitney Dolan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eli Shipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Elias Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Riverbank FC's Dylan Ragland got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers DeMarcus Butler in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Whitney Dolan saved Riverbank FC from getting behind. When Brendan Gilmore came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Northville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendan Gilmore couldn't finish the play. Whitney Dolan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from DeMarcus Butler went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. DeMarcus Butler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Whitney Dolan having to interfere. Kyle Abernathy kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Whitney Dolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from DeMarcus Butler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When DeMarcus Butler came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Northville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that DeMarcus Butler couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnny Stevens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Riverbank FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kyle Abernathy hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Johnny Stevens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riverbank FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Stevens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Riverbank FC booed when Northville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Aragon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes, Riverbank FC's Chuck Boles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Martinez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Riverbank FC reached it. After 64 minutes, Lane Norwood mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Northville FC and the Riverbank FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Riverbank FC booed when Northville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lane Norwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Northville FC's goalkeeper Elias Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Whitney Dolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from DeMarcus Butler in the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysses Esposito during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Riverbank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Esposito to maneuver through the defense. Brendan Gilmore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Whitney Dolan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Riverbank FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Zachery Landreth hit a great ball. Whitney Dolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from DeMarcus Butler in the 85th minute of the match. Kyle Abernathy kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Brendan Gilmore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Whitney Dolan made a huge save. 89 minutes into the game, Kyle Abernathy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riverbank FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Northville FC the free kick. In the 89th minute, Kyle Abernathy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brendan Gilmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Whitney Dolan having to interfere. The supporters of Riverbank FC booed when Northville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shannon Hampton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Zachery Landreth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Martinez skillfully saved the ball. The Northville FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Northville FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
