Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jayhawk AFC's Tuan Matson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barry Whitfield kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Jayhawk AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Titus Crozier to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's goalkeeper Rubin Alonzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rocky Lozano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerold Conway in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kraig Odom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes, Sal Knight mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bethlehem and the Jayhawk AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sal Knight kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Elias Dubois took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rubin Alonzo. Bethlehem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jerold Conway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kraig Odom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Conway in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Conway in the 32nd minute of play forced Jayhawk AFC's goalkeeper Kraig Odom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Robby Pierson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kraig Odom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robby Pierson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robby Pierson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rocky Lozano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Tuan Matson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jayhawk AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuan Matson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubin Alonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jerold Conway made the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Fugate hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Bethlehem got a corner. Jayhawk AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cary Eckert ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bethlehem's Cary Eckert was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kraig Odom in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Conway in the 59th minute of play forced Jayhawk AFC's goalkeeper Kraig Odom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kraig Odom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Conway, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jayhawk AFC's Kraig Odom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerold Conway in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bethlehem's zone, Rocky Lozano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubin Alonzo came out of the goal and Rocky Lozano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robby Pierson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerold Conway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kraig Odom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jayhawk AFC's Armando Andrews got a free kick in the 77th minute. Kraig Odom made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Robby Pierson sent off a good shot on target. Kraig Odom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerold Conway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Robby Pierson came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Bethlehem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robby Pierson couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
