Jonathan Mayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Butler having to interfere. Greg Dietz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Will Butler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Juventus booed when Elmwood Place AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lane Parsons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reyes Stroud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanner Burkett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reyes Stroud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Will Butler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Mayer's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Greg Dietz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phillip Wang's late challenge caught a Juventus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phillip Wang helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Elmwood Place AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Wang to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Greg Dietz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Will Butler was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. If Greg Dietz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Santo Mullins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Juventus's Jonathan Mayer in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. There was no doubt that Juventus were the better team. Juventus's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
