Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) East Moline FC's Darrell Harding started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Snell in the 4th minute of play forced East Moline FC's goalkeeper Basil Latham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Russ kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Dylan Cobb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basil Latham having to make a save. Darrell Harding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Hodges having to interfere. Basil Latham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dylan Cobb's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Darrell Harding got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to East Moline FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Louie Fujieda hit a great ball. Dylan Cobb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, East Moline FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trey Beach to maneuver through the defense. If Luke Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the game, Darrell Harding recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramiro Hodges. Darrell Harding showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Mi primera ereccion booed when East Moline FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luke Snell was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Mi primera ereccion getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Murray Delong hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Luke Snell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basil Latham. East Moline FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luke Snell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Andreas Walton came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the East Moline FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Walton couldn't finish the play. Dylan Cobb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dylan Cobb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Basil Latham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 99 minutes, Dylan Cobb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mi primera ereccion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylan Cobb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Mi primera ereccion could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than East Moline FC throughout the match.
