Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when DeMarcus Orlinsky got the match started through his kick off. Miguel Robbins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Glenn Durham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebio McGill was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. The supporters of Crew SC booed when Florida Suns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Durham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Robbins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eusebio McGill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Crew SC's zone, Glenn Durham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio McGill came out of the goal and Glenn Durham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nolan Huang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from DeMarcus Orlinsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Crew SC's DeMarcus Orlinsky in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Florida Suns's goalie prevented a goal. Morgan Fitzpatrick struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nolan Huang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crew SC. DeMarcus Orlinsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nolan Huang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Florida Suns booed when Crew SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrone Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Crew SC's Eusebio McGill got control of the ball when Miguel Robbins tried to sneak it across the goal line. DeMarcus Orlinsky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebio McGill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Durham in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Crew SC's Eusebio McGill got control of the ball when Miguel Robbins tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glenn Durham to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, DeMarcus Orlinsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nolan Huang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from DeMarcus Orlinsky in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morgan Fitzpatrick got free with Nolan Huang in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DeMarcus Orlinsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nolan Huang having to interfere. Eusebio McGill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glenn Durham, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 72 played minutes Florida Suns got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Kerr. After 75 minutes of play, Florida Suns's Glenn Durham made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio McGill was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Florida Suns's Morgan Kerr got a free kick in the 79th minute. Thad Daly, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 87th minute, Glenn Durham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling DeMarcus Orlinsky in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nolan Huang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Crew SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Florida Suns.
