Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kurt Diamond took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mervin Valentine was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Munford's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lumberton's Jefferson Bassett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Dobbs in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lumberton's zone, Moses Hoyt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Bassett came out of the goal and Moses Hoyt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Blaine Connelly fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munford's protests and gave Blaine Connelly a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lumberton booed when Munford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blaine Connelly didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Roderick Squires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benny Madsen skillfully saved the ball. After 15 played minutes Lumberton got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Herron. 17 minutes into the match, Lumberton's goalkeeper Jefferson Bassett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaine Connelly. After 18 minutes, Elliott Dobbs made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lumberton's Jefferson Bassett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 played minutes Munford got a freekick which was hit by Elvis Stanton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mervin Valentine in the 30th minute of play forced Lumberton's goalkeeper Jefferson Bassett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Bassett came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Munford's Elliott Dobbs. But to his dismay, Elliott Dobbs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Moses Hoyt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jefferson Bassett made a huge save. Jefferson Bassett made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mel Albert sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th match minute, Lumberton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandy Platt to maneuver through the defense. Benny Madsen came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Lumberton's Kurt Diamond. But to his dismay, Kurt Diamond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Moses Hoyt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elliott Dobbs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Moses Hoyt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jefferson Bassett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Blaine Connelly notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Lumberton's Jefferson Bassett. Jefferson Bassett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elton Yeats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jefferson Bassett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lumberton's goalkeeper Jefferson Bassett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blaine Connelly scored 5-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Bassett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Blaine Connelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lumberton's Lewis Herron got a free kick in the 79th minute. Elliott Dobbs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Bassett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Jefferson Bassett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moses Hoyt in the 83rd minute of the match. Lumberton's Jefferson Bassett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Dobbs in the 85th minute of play. Jefferson Bassett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moses Hoyt in the 86th minute of the match. Mervin Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jefferson Bassett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferson Bassett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliott Dobbs's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Benny Madsen came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lumberton's Brandon Ricks. But to his dismay, Brandon Ricks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Mervin Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Munford had played much better football throughout.
