In the 22nd match minute, Stowe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Keen to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Norberto Clemons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stowe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Clemons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benny Madsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Cisneros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mervin Valentine hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Munford's Benny Madsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Hughes in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Cristobal Hughes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benny Madsen. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Jim Cardenas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moses Hoyt in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Stowe FC booed when Munford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Albert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Munford supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stowe FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Stowe FC.
