Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) AS Monaco FC's Lawrence Wolf started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Forrest Pena in the 4th minute of play forced AS Monaco FC's goalkeeper Gordon Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gordon Gil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Pham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AS Monaco FC's Gordon Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Pham in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rosedale's Jesus Carrey got a free kick in the 11th minute. After recieving a nice pass, AS Monaco FC's DeMarcus Caballero tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rosedale defense, Lawrence Wolf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Lawrence. The Rosedale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Lawrence should have stopped the shot. Jesus Carrey's late challenge caught a AS Monaco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Carrey helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the match, Rosedale's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff Mills came free, but Alberto Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Forrest Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosedale's supporters rose to their feet, but Forrest Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Gil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lawrence Wolf might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Lawrence. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lawrence Wolf ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Roe, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Alberto Lawrence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lawrence Wolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Roe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Lawrence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steve Pham to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 54 in the game by Joaquin Roe from a close distance when the talented Alberto Lawrence managed to make a qualified save. Rosedale's players were relieved. Rosedale's Alberto Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Rosedale from getting a goal against them. Steve Pham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Steve Pham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gordon Gil was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Lawrence Wolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The AS Monaco FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AS Monaco FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
