Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brendon Platt made the kick off which started today's match. Lopezville's Keith Plummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Platt in the 3rd minute of play. Keith Plummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clark Brooks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Clark Brooks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Clark Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keith Plummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Platt, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Brendon Platt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keith Plummer having to make a save. Zack Padgett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Brendon Platt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haviland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Clark Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keith Plummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clark Brooks in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Platt in the 27th minute of play forced Lopezville's goalkeeper Keith Plummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lopezville's zone, Brendon Platt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keith Plummer came out of the goal and Brendon Platt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keith Plummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clark Brooks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Clark Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keith Plummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryant Holbrook in the 42nd minute of the match. Brendon Platt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Lopezville's goal looked a bit too open when Brendon Platt came free, but Keith Plummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Hadley made a kick off. Brendon Platt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andre Pendleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Hadley in the 59th minute of play. Keith Plummer was a little too slow when Brendon Platt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymundo Costello during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Lopezville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymundo Costello to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Brendon Platt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haviland's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon Platt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keith Plummer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute of the match Werner Zimmerman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keith Plummer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brendon Platt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Keith Plummer came out and tried to block the shot, but Brendon Platt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 73rd minute. Clark Brooks took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keith Plummer. Keith Plummer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Haviland's Andre Pendleton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Padgett in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lopezville's zone, Clark Brooks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keith Plummer came out of the goal and Clark Brooks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brendon Platt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Lopezville's Keith Plummer got control of the ball when Clark Brooks tried to sneak it across the goal line.
