Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kristopher Pierce kicked off to start the match. Marshall Hager hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kasey Carrey during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palm City AFC's Jay McNeil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Bruner in the 9th minute of play. Hank Horne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Frederick! The referee gave Palm City AFC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paul Gagne, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Frederick's Lawrence Bachman. 1-0. Hank Horne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lawrence Bachman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Rigoberto Bruner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palm City AFC's Jay McNeil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Frederick's Lawrence Bachman got control of the ball when Wilfred Traylor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Hank Horne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wilfred Traylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hank Horne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lawrence Bachman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
