They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dillon Eaton to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Junior Hollingsworth got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dillon Eaton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Farris having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Dillon Eaton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dillon Eaton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cedric Farris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dillon Eaton in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes, Adolfo Rader mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Princeton Athletic Club and the Manchester United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
