In the 56th minute, Clark Nicholson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black Forest AFC's Cristopher Crusher got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernie Fontenots short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Joshua Rosen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Domenico Drew charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domenico Drew the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Birmingham Legion FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Drew. Bernie Fontenot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Rosen having to interfere. The supporters of Black Forest AFC booed when Birmingham Legion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitchell Logan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernie Fontenot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bernie Fontenot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Birmingham Legion FC's zone, Vincenzo Wall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joshua Rosen came out of the goal and Vincenzo Wall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal McDaniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Birmingham Legion FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
