Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eric Kiser took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Tod Sapp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Winford Patrick got free with King Stringer in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Freddie Brewster fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored University Place FC's protests and gave Freddie Brewster a yellow card for diving instead. Freddie Brewster hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Monroe Matlock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universal City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave University Place FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Universal City's Monroe Matlock got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Universal City's King Stringer got control of the ball when Winford Patrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Universal City's goalkeeper King Stringer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Brewster. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Cotton in the 18th minute of play forced Universal City's goalkeeper King Stringer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ulysses Stanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Terry Cotton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but King Stringer was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Eric Kiser scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Lassiter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Universal City's goalkeeper King Stringer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Winford Patrick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Stanley couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Brewster in the 38th minute of play forced Universal City's goalkeeper King Stringer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. King Stringer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Brewster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Universal City got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Stanley. DeAndre Leonard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jim Lassiter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddie Brewster to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Eric Kiser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universal City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Kiser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Eric Kiser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Lassiter was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Tod Sapp hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Tod Sapp charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Eric Kiser might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Lassiter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Kiser ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute Eric Kiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Lassiter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DeAndre Leonard in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jim Lassiter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Eusebio Mobley came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the University Place FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Mobley couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes University Place FC got a freekick which was hit by Terry Cotton. Eric Kiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Winford Patrick notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Universal City's King Stringer. King Stringer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Ulysses Stanley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jim Lassiter, 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Universal City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than University Place FC.
