In the 10th minute Truman Rowland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernie Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Truman Rowland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernie Maurer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Truman Rowland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Truman Rowland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammad Helms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernie Maurer having to interfere. Clay Matthews hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ernie Maurer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammad Helms in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Truman Rowland in the 37th minute of play forced Kenton AFC's goalkeeper Ernie Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merlin Gil got free with Theodore Carr in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Clay Matthews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Truman Rowland came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Meltics Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Truman Rowland couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Truman Rowland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Meltics Fc's Truman Rowland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernie Maurer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Meltics Fc booed when Kenton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clay Matthews didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merlin Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theodore Carr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Stoner in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Meltics Fc's Mohammad Helms ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernie Maurer. Ernie Maurer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 67th minute Ronny Stoner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Carr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammad Helms received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernie Maurer came out and tried to block the shot, but Mohammad Helms slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 71st minute. Ronny Stoner struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Theodore Carr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kenton AFC. 84 minutes into the match, Meltics Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Stoner came free, but Theodore Carr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Meltics Fc booed when Kenton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winston Stuart didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Meltics Fc's goalkeeper Theodore Carr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot by Ronnie Cooke from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Ernie Maurer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Meltics Fc walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
