In the 9thth minute of the game Garret Cage who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floral City's Martin Bridges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of America United booed when Floral City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Trent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerome Wooten was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, America United's Harvey Dupre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Bridges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garret Cage in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Bridges saved Floral City from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Garret Cage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Bridges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harvey Dupre went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Floral City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jerome Wooten was slow to take the kick. During this time America United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on America United's corner Jerome Wooten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martin Bridges quite easily take care of the ball. Duane Boudreaux thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Martin Bridges, a very annoying self made goal in the 34th minute which led to 3-1. Garret Cage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Floral City's goalkeeper Martin Bridges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harvey Dupre. Martin Bridges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garret Cage in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Floral City's goalkeeper Martin Bridges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harvey Dupre. Douglass Pham hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Young Gould to strike the kick off in the second half. Roy Shaw struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Martin Bridges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for America United. Martin Bridges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garret Cage in the 58th minute of play. Floral City's Martin Bridges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Dupre in the 61st minute of play. Floral City were furious when Adrian Gore was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Floral City! The referee gave America United a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jerome Wooten, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Floral City's Martin Bridges. 4-1. A collision led to America United getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bradly Flanagan hit a great ball. Jerome Wooten hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Leroy Aranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Harvey Dupre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garret Cage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Martin Bridges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. America United's Garret Cage got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When America United's Garret Cage in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floral City's goalie prevented a goal. Harvey Dupre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Garret Cage's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Bridges was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Leroy Aranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary McCall having to interfere. If Harvey Dupre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. America United fully deserved thier win.
