Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kristopher Stover took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ernie Mullen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonah Vogt in the 4th minute of play forced San Rafael FC's goalkeeper Omar Buckley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Buckley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alec MacDowell in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, San Rafael FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boyd Corcoran came free, but Omar Buckley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Buckley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Mullen in the 10th minute of play. Ernie Mullen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Buckley having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Hazel Green FC's goalkeeper Young Barr had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daren Crabtree. In the 22ndth minute of the game Will Campbell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Rafael FC's Omar Buckley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. San Rafael FC were furious when Rickey Brown was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 25 minutes of play, Hazel Green FC's Leonard Quintero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Buckley was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Hazel Green FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Leonard Quintero hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes San Rafael FC got a freekick which was hit by Marquis McGee. Jonah Vogt's late challenge caught a San Rafael FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonah Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Hazel Green FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonah Vogt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernie Mullen in the 35th minute of play forced San Rafael FC's goalkeeper Omar Buckley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Young Barr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Byron Reese in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Boyd Corcoran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hazel Green FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Rafael FC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Boyd Corcoran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Robert Berg came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the San Rafael FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Berg couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Hazel Green FC's zone, Byron Reese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Young Barr came out of the goal and Byron Reese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Will Campbell was the one to do the kick off. San Rafael FC's Omar Buckley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Campbell in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes San Rafael FC got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Christian. Leonard Quintero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Buckley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Robert Berg scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Young Barr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Duncan Numbers came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the San Rafael FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Numbers couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Robert Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Young Barr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hazel Green FC's Will Campbell was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Robert Berg struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Young Barr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Rafael FC. Daren Crabtree hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Hazel Green FC's Young Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Berg in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Will Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Buckley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hazel Green FC's Young Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daren Crabtree in the 75th minute of play. Young Barr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daren Crabtree, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of Hazel Green FC booed when San Rafael FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Christian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Leonard Quintero in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Omar Buckley's left hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daren Crabtree in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Young Barr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daren Crabtree blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Young Barr having to make a save. Daren Crabtree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
