San Rafael FC's Marquis McGee was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wesley Layton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 42 minutes, Kristopher Stover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Rafael FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Stover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristopher Stover struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Wesley Layton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Rafael FC.

Vincenzo Croft succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Ferris in the 94th minute of play forced San Rafael FC's goalkeeper Omar Buckley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
