Olathe Falcons's attack was well implemented in the 3rd minute, but when Brent Alfaro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Jospeh Connor made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Walter Mixon sent off a good shot on target. Tobias Reece received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Derek Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Morgan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. El Mirage's Jospeh Connor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Alfaro in the 20th minute of play. Tobias Reece recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josh Conroy's late challenge caught a El Mirage's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josh Conroy helped the player get up and apologised. Josh Conroy kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rich Arellano in the 28th minute of play forced Olathe Falcons's goalkeeper Derek Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Mirage's Luke Dennis got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 33 minutes on the clock, Dylan Harman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. El Mirage's Justin Pritchett got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Justin Pritchett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Derek Arias made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Tobias Reece sent off a good shot on target. Justin Pritchett let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 61st minute shot 0-2 at rihgt post. If Rusty Fletcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Mirage's Justin Pritchett came free and shot a quick shot against goal 71 minutes in the game, fortunately Derek Arias had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Olathe Falcons's goalkeeper Derek Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Pritchett. Justin Pritchett's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Derek Arias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice moves Tobias Reece could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Derek Arias however easily saved by the left post. Justin Pritchetts short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Derek Arias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luke Dennis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 96 in the game by Justin Pritchett from a close distance when the talented Derek Arias managed to make a qualified save. Olathe Falcons's players were relieved. El Mirage's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
